Born from the surf culture of Southern California, 

Catch Surf is all about fun and good vibes. 

All our boards are designed by surfers in San Clemente, California, USA. 

  The brand, which was started by New Yorker George Arzente back in 2007, 

has credited the Beater board as Catch Surf’s big break into the market. 

“The birth of the Beater in August of ’09—we put it out there and it just caught on,” 

says Catch Surf VP of Sales Joel Manalastas.

 “Guys are stoked to have a board they can have fun

 on and do a hybrid type of surfing where it’s a mix of skim boarding, surfing, 

and what they call ‘skurfing’

—paddling into the wave—

in just sub par conditions that you normally wouldn’t go out in.
